Whether you have a small warehouse or a larger one which is now lacking in storage space, there are many easy, quick and effective solutions to your problem. From warehouse racking to mezzanine floor, warehouse storage optimisation has never been easier. So here are a few options that are guaranteed to make a difference in your warehouse.
Warehouse racking systems
If your warehouse receives many orders that usually consist of large boxes and/or containers, then investing in traditional warehouse stacking systems is usually the best way to deal with them. Warehouse racking is especially useful if you combine it with specialist material handling equipment, such as forklifts, reach trucks or even order pickers. Some of the most common types of conventional warehouse racking includes:
- Selective racking – the most basic racking on the market, but it’s also one of the most versatile out there
- Wide aisle adjustable pallet racking – these can be located immediately in front or behind one another
- Narrow or very narrow aisle pallet racks – designed specifically for more confined spaces but still with generous room to manoeuvre
- Drive-in and drive-through pallet racking systems – this help to take the mechanical device integration to the next level
Multy Lift are material handling experts, endeavouring to supply our clients with the best possible solutions to their warehouse problems, even down to the amount of storage space they have. That’s why we’re pleased to offer durable warehouse racking that will stand the test of time.
Mezzanine floors
A mezzanine floor is a structure that’s built on top of your existing floor space. It typically comprises two levels: the ground level and the second level. Sometimes, a mezzanine floor can be made up on more than just one or two levels.
Usually, mezzanine floors are used for storage space, office space or general retail space – it depends on the industry you’re working in. It’s important to note, however, that if you wish to build a mezzanine floor, you’ll need to make sure it’s done to current UK Building Regulations so as to ensure the safety of all who are onsite. Here at Multy Lift, we’re able to provide you with strong, sturdy and secure mezzanine flooring.
Partitioning
Partitioning is flexible by nature and designed in such a way to allow high levels of productivity throughout your warehouse. As well as this, it also helps to create a more organised, neat and tidy storage space that can be navigated around, either on foot or by warehouse equipment, as safely and as efficiently as possible.

With an impressive amount of experience behind us, we can always be counted upon to provide you with the best possible solution.
