Why You Need to Implement Aisle-Master Forklifts Right Now

Why You Need to Implement Aisle-Master Forklifts Right Now

Aisle-Master forklifts are designed and manufactured by CombiLift, a renowned forklift producer that trades around the world. Aisle-Master forklifts are, essentially, very narrow aisles (VNA) forklifts, designed specifically for use, as the name would suggest, in and around warehouse aisles that are particularly small. They can also be used in tight, compact spaces, making them ideal for use in even the smallest of warehouses. But why do you need an Aisle-Master forklift in your warehouse, even if it’s a large premises? Below are a few reasons as to why you should implement Aisle-Master forklifts right now:

They have an impressive reach height

Although they’re compact in size, Aisle-Master forklifts have the potential to reach heights of up to an impressive 15 metres. This means that they’ll be able to access stock that’s sat on even the tallest of warehouse racking and shelving. Aisle-Master forklifts can be used in high-density, busy warehouses, where efficiency and productivity is key to completing a variety of warehouse tasks, no matter how simple or complex they might be.

In addition to having a considerable reach height, Aisle-Master forklifts can also lift 1.5 tonnes to that capacity, so regardless of how heavy your inventory is, an Aisle-Master forklift will make short work of warehouse operations, no matter the industry you work in. As well as having an impressive reach height and a significant weight capacity, Aisle-Master forklifts have a wide range of different features and attachments available to enable warehouse owners to seamlessly complete tasks, including:

  • Overhead guards
  • Fork length
  • Rear tyres varying in size
  • Several operator cab features
  • Ground speed

They can work in & around narrow aisles

Narrow aisles are often considered to be around 1.6 metres wide. Where that might seem like an incredibly compact space where warehouse operations can’t possibly be carried out, an Aisle-Master forklift will be able to effortlessly complete any warehouse task within that tight area. This allows warehouse owners to use every piece of available space throughout their premises, enabling them to save money by way of moving to a larger premises or by implementing additional storage solutions; it’s simply not needed if you have an Aisle-Master forklift.

Driver comfort & safety is a priority in its design

Aisle-Master forklifts have been designed and manufactured with safety and operator comfort at the forefront. This gives warehouse owners absolute peace of mind that their forklift drivers will be safe and protected from harm whilst at work, but it also ensures the safety of pedestrians in the area. In addition to that, operators will also be incredibly comfortable whilst driving an Aisle-Master forklift, allowing for many hours of uninterrupted service and operation. This, in turn, will reduce conditions like RSI developing in forklift operators, especially seeing as the cabin, controls and seating has been ergonomically-designed for optimum comfort.

They can be used in cold storage settings

Aisle-Master forklifts can be used in a variety of different settings, including cold storage areas. This allows forklift operators to manoeuvre, load and unload stock in areas where humans shouldn’t be for a considerable length of time. Depending on the model you choose, the cabin is enclosed and comes with features like heating or air conditioning as and when needed. This means that stock can still be transported in these areas as the operator will be safe and comfortable within the cabin, especially with heating options whilst in cold storage settings.

There are multiple fuel types available to choose from

Aisle-Master forklifts are available in a wide range of different fuel options, including diesel, electric and LPG. Diesel would be most ideal for outdoor operations, but these models are difficult to find as we move towards more eco-friendly warehouse operations. Instead of diesel, and especially if you need operations to be carried out both inside and outdoors, then an LPG Aisle-Master forklift would be the most ideal solution. Electric forklifts, on the other hand, should be reserved only for indoor use. LPG and electric Aisle-Master forklifts are the most environmentally-friendly options if this is something you’re particularly concerned about.

They enable warehouse owners to maximise space

As already touched upon, warehouse owners won’t have to worry about moving to a larger premises in order to maximise space. If you have some free space available, then you’ll be able to implement additional storage solutions, such as warehouse racking, by making your aisles slightly more narrow. This is because Aisle-Master forklift can execute even the most complex of projects in the narrowest of aisles, so you won’t have to worry about finding extra storage space if you implement an Aisle-Master forklift.

They’re cost-effective to implement

Aisle-Master forklifts, despite having many features available, can be affordable to implement, depending on the model you choose. In addition to being able to find reasonably-priced, brand new Aisle-Master forklifts, you’ll also have the option to purchase second-hand VNA forklifts, something we’re pleased to offer here at Multy Lift.

Another cost-effective option for warehouse owners is to hire the equipment they need, and this is no different for VNA forklifts. Here at Multy Lift, we can offer VNA forklift hire, either with long or short-term contracts. No matter your budget, we’ll provide you with a solution that will suit your needs.

Some models can be used both inside & outdoors

As already touched upon, Aisle-Master forklifts can be used both inside and outdoors, depending on the model and fuel type you choose. LPG forklifts can be used either indoors or outside thanks to its incredibly low emission levels. Diesel Aisle-Master forklifts, on the other hand, can only be used outdoors and never inside, because of the fumes it gives off whilst in use.

On the contrary, electric forklifts should only be reserved for indoor use. Whilst they can be operated outside, it’s advised that you should refrain from driving them across loose, rough or uneven terrain. Ideally, they’re recommended for indoor use only, much like other forklift models on the market that are powered by electricity.

They’re eco-friendly

Electric Aisle-Master forklifts give off zero-emissions, making them incredibly sustainable. LPG forklifts are also considered to be eco-friendly thanks to their low-emission levels. Either fuel type is ideal for warehouse owners who are looking to reduce their carbon footprints, swapping their heavy diesel forklift models for more sleek, compact electric or LPG options. This also means that both LPG and electric forklifts can be used, safely, indoors.
